Car Insurance Policy New York NY
Reader’s Question:
I have been living here in New York for quite long and what bothers me is the law in this state which is “no-fault system”. Is there anything hidden in this law of New York? Does it have something to do with the minimum requirement of the state of New York?

It is true that every law, policy or system has a loophole including the “NO Fault System” here in New York. “No Fault System” means that there is no one to be blamed if a car accident happens. Both drivers in the accident have to divide both expenses.
The loophole of the “No fault System” requires all New York drivers to purchase a Liability Policy and a Personal Injury Protection which will compensate all the damages and medical expenses that have been incurred by the accident. Another thing that New York requires to all the drivers to have an uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance that will pay for the damaged car or injured person that was incurred by a person who doesn’t have any insurance or a person who doesn’t cover all the damages acquired, this policy also covers those victims of hit and run. The no fault system is actually good for those citizens who have their own car insurances and covers everything in any situation they get themselves into. If you learn everything your state has to offer then you don’t have any problem for you will know the consequences and benefits if ever you have made your choice on what policy you would take.
